How it works

Natamycin inhibits the growth of fungi by specifically binding to ergosterol present in fungal cell membranes. Natamycin inhibits amino acid and glucose transport proteins leading to a loss of nutrient transport across the plasma membrane.

Indication

It is used for fungal infections such as blepharitis , conjunctivitis and keratitis caused by susceptibble organisms .

When not to Use

Do not use : If you are allergic to natamycin or any of the other ingredients .

Precaution

Do not use the drops while wearing contact lenses. Wait at least 15 minutes after use before putting your lenses back in.

Natacin Eye Warnings

Warning 1

Only use in your eye(s).

Warning 2

If you are using other eye drops, you should wait at least 15 minutes between applying natamycin Eye Drops and any other type of eye drop.

Warning 3

You may experience blurred vision after using lodoxamide. Do not drive or use any machines unless your vision is clear.
