Super-Cal Tablets Description

Indication : SUPER-CAL is used for the treatment and prevention of low calcium levels and resulting bone conditions including osteoporosis (weak bones due to low bone density), rickets (a condition in children involving softening of the bones), and osteomalacia (a softening of bones involving pain). Precaution : Calcium supplementation can increase the risk of having too much calcium in the blood in people with poor kidney function. Use caution in patients with kidney disease. Precaution : This medication should not be used if you have a certain medical condition. Before using this medicine, consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have: a high blood calcium level (hypercalcemia). Precaution : This medication passes into breast milk. Consult your doctor before breastfeeding. Side Effects : SUPER-CAL can cause some minor side effects such as belching or gas.
